As an established cruiser it is a great way to sample different countries and places. We have returned to Kotor, Montenegro and Bangkok, Thailand as full holidays after day visits from cruise ships. Then again it can be a great family holiday and we are booked on Sun Princess next year with a party of eleven including five grandchildren. Or you can just treat it as a four star hotel with full board. top quality entertainment and the chance to take a stroll somewhere new every day. You can make a cruise what you want by finding the right ship and adapting your plans.
I'm new to your channel. I love it. We just bought our next cruise on The Regal Princess, we are so excited, esspecially after hearing you talk about your trip. So Thank You for doing a Vlog on your FIrst Cruise.
Just found your channel. I am a lover of Princess cruises (I've cruised with them six times now) and I'm glad you also enjoyed yours. I'm just wondering why you got off the ship early. Why didn't you complete the cruise? Only difference of opinion I have with you is about buying one of the packages. Was yours included for free...as part of the invitation by Princess? The Premier Package costs a LOT of money. Both people in the cabin are required to buy it (even if you're not a drinker but your partner is). Right now it would set you back an additional $180 USD per DAY. My husband and I would have paid an additional $2,520 for our 14 day British Isles cruise. I guarantee you we wouldn't have eaten or drunk enough to make that a reasonable purchase. (Oh...and it was lovely that you were given flowers for your room...but that only happens if you have the Reserve Collection option. It's got a few benefits/perks that regular cabins don't have. People shouldn't expect that in the cabin unless they pay extra for that.)
Don't drink so the additional $180/day for premier package for my wife and I was not worth it. We did a 33 cruise on this ship. Summary: nice ship, smooth riding, clean, 5:02 nicely laid out. Service was superb. Food in the general restaurants was average. Entertainment was average. Extra fees for everything. Here's the BIG downside: CROWDS. The cruise is oversubscribed. Mobs of people EVERYWHERE. Reminded us of Wal-Mart or Costco on a busy day. The buffet resembles a cattle feet trough. And almost EVERYONE was hacking and coughing. You WILL get sick.
You're not keeping up with things. I'm not sure any cruise lines still have a vaccine requirement, but I know that Princess cruises doesn't. You do run the risk of getting sick with COVID if you cruise though...so be sure not to blame anyone but yourself if you get really sick.

I get motion sickness and I went on a 12 day and I only had to take Dramamine once. Choppy sea one day.
Best line in the video: "Having your drinks package - how could you get bored?" Well said! 🤣🥂

I’ve cruised both cruise lines but I’m deciding between the regal and NCL escape!

It looks like an amazing ship, would like to try it as I have done 2 cruises with MSC & it would be nice to try a different cruise company,
Did you choose this short cruise to test the waters (no pun intended) of what it was like to go on a cruise?
